There was an 80's movie, the title of which I can't remember just now but I remember one line in particular.
"Sometimes you just gotta say... what the fuck"
Advice I need desperately to take.
I needn't stress out about the fact that my boss is stressed out and in turn trying to stress me the hell out. I needn't worry about the fact that my co-worker, whom I like, I really do, is not fully getting all aspects of her job even at 8 months in and thus wants to offload even more work to me (I'm struggling to figure out at what point I tell her enough is enough without looking like I'm failing to be "teamplayer").
I needn't worry that bossylady and co-worker are headed off to a conference next week leaving me to handle the work of three people.
Nope not going to worry about it at all.
In fact, with them out of the office I may blog more .
Yeah, things are looking up already!

More blogging time at work? A definite plus. As for the not looking like a teamplayer vs. getting the shaft by doing everyone else's work? Ah, man. I hear ya and hate it for you.
What I wouldn't give for more blogging time at work.
Wait. I don't work. Wait. Yes I do. 24 hours a day.
Wait.
What was I saying again?
Yeah, there you go - let them go, do your work and blog more, and then when you get back, kindly inform your colleague that "sorry, couldn't get it done - now that you're back might as well do it yourself" and hand it back over. She'd better start getting her s**t done or I'll be coming over to slap her personally - hey, I get protective of my friends and favorite bloggers!
I am not going to be able to sleep until I remember the name of that movie you were talking about...damn, bad time for "Husband with Geeky Knowledge of All 80s Movies" to be out of touch all day on a motorcycle trip!
Risky Business....!!! (sigh of mental relief) Who needs Geeky Knowledge Boy when there's Google?
Michaele -
I just fell in love w/you. Oh if only I was resourceful enough to check Google ;)
